It’s all about the experience. There’s a reason that’s the company slogan here at Stark Enterprises. Every decision we make must adhere to one crucial guideline … does this help create a great experience.
So, when we built Crocker Park and Eton Chagrin Boulevard (and indeed all the properties across our portfolio), we set out with the singular goal of fostering memorable, lasting experiences. While there is a lot we can do on the development side to build an environment well-suited for experiential elements, it is ultimately up to the businesses and people who will be calling the property home to really deliver on that promise.
As much as I love touting the remarkable work of our in-house staff from development, to leasing, to operations, it’s our tenants that do all the heavy lifting. Without them we would essentially be a collection of empty buildings. Anyone who says otherwise can’t see the forest for the trees. The shops, restaurants, offices, residents, etc. are the foundation of our operation. They are the trees that together comprise the dense, diverse forest. We create the opportunity; they create the experience.
It’s no easy task, but they continue to make us look good year after year, and I’m very excited to see so many of our great tenants on Cleveland Scene’s Best of Cleveland list. While I think they should all be on here, it’s nice to see so many great businesses – and more importantly the people behind those businesses – recognized for the incredible work they do day in and day out, especially after all the very difficult times of late. A heartfelt thanks to the winners and to everyone who calls one of our Stark Enterprises properties home. You embody our mission and inspire us to do better every day.
